While common mythology holds that Santa’s sleigh is powered by reindeer, the truth is he decided he needed more power in the late 1950s. Here we can see his elves running pretrip tests on one of the sleigh’s engines.

Thats pretty much how i picture Santa’s elves...big, surely and dressed how they damn well please when the big man isn’t around.

It takes a lot to get a job like that done and niceties of title and uniform are discarded when not needed. That said, there is an abundance of cookies and candy canes, so they tend to put on a couple of pounds.
